Lyrics To Sleeping Double In A Single Bed
I think I must be in love... For I feel like a flying dove... I think I might be about to wed... For I awoke this morning from Sleeping Double In A Single Bed.
I tried to remember what this was all about... It all happened the night before when I went out... To serve the city with all my charm... And I intended to do no harm.
About all I could remember was entering this sleezy little bar... When someone hollered, belly up and park your car... Then this cute little thing sat down next to me on a stool... She snuggled up to me and ask for a drink, then said, "take me to school"...
And this morning I was told I was about to wed... For I had been Sleeping Double In A Single Bed... I told her I was not ready to give it all up... For I had some more running to do to fill my cup.
The she said, "You told me you loved me... And I expect a ring by noon you see"... So I must be in love... For I feel like a flying dove.
Then she opened the door real wide... And said, "My daddy will skin your hide"... Never did I know I could get so drunk... And wake up the next morning in my bunk.
To be told I was about to wed... For Sleeping Double In A Single Bed... Goodbye to all my friends who have yet to wed... For I got caught Sleeping Double In A Single Bed.
I got caught Sleeping Double In A Single Bed
